Obituary of Amanda Christine Ceraso

Amanda C. Ceraso, age 33, most recently of Newtown passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York after fighting a courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Greenwich, CT on November 7, 1987, Amanda is the daughter of Gary Ceraso of Easton and Nancy (DeSisto) Ceraso of Bethel. For the past 11 years, Amanda has been employed by the Trump Organization where she enjoyed working and was loved by many. She enjoyed country music, cooking and baking, spending time with her family and close friends, and being the best auntie to her nieces and nephews. 

It was her loving and caring affection for others and her selfless need to put everyone else before herself that will be remembered by all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, other survivors include her loving sister, Alisha C. Lindstrom and her husband Richard and their son, who is Amanda’s godson, Cole, her brothers; Garett C. Ceraso and his daughters, Oliviana and Mia and Gregory C. Ceraso and his son Maximus, as well as her extended family, Diane, Rudy,Rachael, and Vincent Mobilio, whom Amanda loved greatly and were a huge part of her life.

A walk through visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Face Masks and social distancing will be required as guests pay their respects and exit the building to allow others the same opportunity. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, where seating is limited to 100 people due to the current pandemic situation.Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center the Limb Preservation Fund #53210 or the Pediatric Oncology Brand at the National Institute of Health.
