Obituary of Julio P. Madeira

Julio Madeira, age 79, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Maria Joaquina Rua Alves Madeira, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He treasured spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. The unconditional love he gave will always live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his beloved wife of 52 years, Maria, survivors include his loving children, a son, Rui Madeira and his wife Albertina of Shelton and a daughter, Guida Madeira of Bridgeport, a cherished and adored granddaughter, Melinda Madeira, a brother, Joaquim Madeira and his wife Ana Maria of Trumbull, a sister, Elisa Pereira Fernandes of Portugal, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Duarte Madeira and his brother-in-law, Joao Rua Dias.
