As I was preparing to send Lou a Christmas card, I came across the news of his passing. I am saddened, but happy that I could work with and learn
from him. Lou and I worked together in both Detroit and Chicago during out GE Credit careers. This was many years ago. However, we talked and exchanged emails during the past several years. During my long business career, I rate Louis T. Cullen the best person I ever reported to. Lou was Professional, Motivational, Ethical and Straight with his people. I spent a great deal of time with Lou in meetings, lunches, dinners and relaxing. Although it was not required, he always gave me 100% Respect which I appreciated. I am sorry that Lou has passed on from this chapter, but I am so happy that I worked with and learned from this fantastic guy. Lou, my mentor, will always be part of my life.
