Obituary of Ann Jackson

Ann Figuly Jackson, age 94 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward M. Jackson, Jr. and they were married on July 4, 1946. Born in Czechoslovakia on April 9, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Ann Figuly. Ann came to the United States at the age of 3 and grew up in Stratford before moving to Bridgeport. After graduating from Stratford High School, she attended Fashion Design School in New York City. Ann enjoyed playing the piano, bowling, painting and sewing and designing clothing. She loved her cats and had many throughout her life as well as a large assortment of cat collectibles.

Survivors include a son, Edward M. Jackson, III and his fiancé, Esther Lilie of Norwalk and a daughter, Sandra A. Drenchen of Milford, seven grandchildren, Tracey Kate Reagan and her husband Skip Reagan, Christopher M. Jackson and his wife Kelly Ann, Sean E. Jackson, Patrick E. Jackson, Michael E. Jackson, Briege A. Laufer and her husband Tom, and Nicholas A. Drenchen and eleven great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers.

Friends are invited to meet directly in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. for a graveside committal service. There will be no calling hours.
