I send my condolences to Al's family and friends. I work at Stamford Hospital for many years and Al was always smiling and so helpful. We would hear his name and voice on our vocera almost daily for years. He will be missed. I would like to send a special message to his daughter Felicia as we did work together. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
It was an honor and a pleasure to have met and work with Al.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend Al.We first met Al when his son and ours played T Ball in Monroe. Our relationship grew over the years as our sons played baseball up through high school and became close friends. Al was a father that truly loved his children and made them a priority. He was a volunteer for Monroe Little League for many years giving freely of his time and energy to the community. We spent a lot of time with Al over the years and quickly learned that there was nothing he wouldn’t do to help out his friends. God called another good one, we will truly miss him.
Our heartfelt condolences to the family, please never hesitate if we can help you in any way.

It is with heavy heart that I write this. I have had many positive interactions with Al in the Stamford Hospital laboratory since 2008. He was always helpful, ready to assist in our almost daily needs - and he did it with warmth, a kind smile, and good humor. Al was one of those people who made Stamford Hospital a better place for all - employees and patients - and yet he would receive only occasional thank yous. He represents the invisible backbone of this place - and only at his passing does one really appreciate what is lost. I have always been grateful to Al, but I wish I could say thank you one more time. Im grateful for having known him and that our paths in life crossed. My condolences to all his family. You are not alone in your grief. I know that all in the lab who have interacted with Al are saddened and grieve at his passing.

My sincere condolences to the entire Anzalone family. A line from the poem THE DASH by Linda Ellis. “For it matters not, how much we own, the cars ... the house ... the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our Dash” Al spent his dash well. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. I’ll miss our talks about children and grandchildren. How proud you were of all of them and how are you beamed when you were showing me their pictures. Al Always came willingly to help with any of our computer and vocera problems. The Maternity Unit will miss you. I will miss you and miss seeing you at the hospital. Rest In Peace.

Deepest condolences from Art Gioseffi of Free Enterprise Telephone. After working for over 10 years for Al it was more of a friendship than work. He will be greatly missed by all of us at FET. I’m so proud to say I was a friend of Al and my condolences to his family. Al was taken away from all of us way too soon. Al was a proud father and grandfather. One quote I will never forget from Al whenever things weren’t going smoothly was, “WTF over” as if he was on the boat radio. Will miss you pal.

It was a pleasure working with Al over the last two years. He was always willing to help in anyway he could, he took the time to explain issues and help you understand how to resolve them. Whenever you saw Al, he would greet you with a big "hello". Al's presence will be greatly missed in the IT department, and at Stamford Hospital as a whole. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Anzalone family.
