Dear Jennifer, Kristine and Kara, and Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your Mom. Joann was truly one of the kindest and nicest ladies I ever met. We had some fun and special times with John and Joann that we will always remember. When we moves to Trumbull and I met your Mom, I was so impressed with what a special person that she was and she made me feel welcome from the beginning. Heaven is a better place with her arrival.
Sincerely,
Diane and George Bagnall

My mom was the epitome of a lady. Caring and kind and genuinely concerned about everyone’s feelings, always leaving herself last.
My sisters and I grew up knowing that we were her top priority. We talked to her daily and she always had time to listen to every little detail of our lives. I don’t think anyone could be that patient or care about these boring details, daily. Sometimes we talked for hours and sometimes there really was nothing to say, but it was nice knowing she was on the other end of the phone. She was more than our mother she was a best friend.
My mom was the North Star of the family, grounding all of us; especially my dad. I’m comforted in knowing that they’ve been reunited. I’m very sure that he’s showing her the ropes up there and proud to have her back by his side. Let’s hope he didn’t get into too much trouble without her.
The past 15 years has not been easy. She fought a debilitating disease. She fought it like a champion. She never complained, never felt sorry for herself end never wanted to be a burden. Little by little Parkinson’s took a way pieces of her, Her ability to move freely, her ability to show off her beautiful smile and much of her independence. Although the disease was strengthening it did not take her strength; her pride, her grace or her ability to care, it just magnified these qualities. She was a true beauty inside and out and it was my honor to be her daughter.

Rest in peace my sweet friend. I have been reminiscing about you all week. Going way back as teenagers, then becoming mothers ourselves. This breaks my heart. You’re a loving friend, Elinor

Mrs. Kucej, you have always been like a second mom to me, and my memories go back a lifetime. I’ll always remember you weeding the pachysandra when we were little girls. Everything you did, you did with love, and I will miss you will always hold you in my heart. xo
