I wish to express my belated and deepest condolences to the family of Harry and Grace.
They were my Godparents, and truly two of the finest people I’ve ever had the pleasure and fortune to have ever known in life.
I’m so glad I went to see them back in 2015 when I was traveling to Connecticut to attend a sorrowful loss of a dear friend, at their new condo. I hadn’t seen them since I left for a job opportunity in Florida back in 79. But my mother Greta always stayed in touch and many times through the years told me they would ask about me and my family.
Harry’s smile was as genuine as the sun and just as bright., and his humor was unsurpassed.
He hadn’t changed a bit throughout all the years I had been gone. Even his youthful appearance stayed with him through all his latter years because of his fantastic attitude.
Heaven could not have two finer people to “Grace” their universe.
Love always and forever, Glenn (Mize) Mandanici.

My sympathy to the family of Harry Puglisi who certainly has won the race of life and now at peace in the arms of Jesus who is Savior and Redeemer. Harry and i go back quite a while in fact more than 25 years as a co-retreatant at Holy Family Retreat House in Farmington, CT. He and I has many conversations about many things but one thing he inspired me and gave me confidence to push through life with Jesus at your side.

Heaven got a good one! My mom lives in in Benchmark, Split Rock, and I have gotten to know Harry over the years. What a wonderful, caring, thoughtful, funny, inspiring man! Here's a story for you. I ran into him in the elevator one day, and he got off at the second floor. I knew his room was on the third, so I asked where he was going. He said he was going to a lecture on some (very boring!) topic. I asked if he had a special interest in the topic, and he said no way. So why, I asked, was he going? He said the staff person who put together the lecture was new to Split Rock, and Harry wanted him to feel welcomed, encouraged and happy. It's so easy to get bitter, selfish or angry when getting older and moving from your home, but Harry was anything but that. He was kind and so loving. He has made a deep impression on me, and my thoughts, prayers and heart are with his family at this time of tremendous loss. Be encouraged, we can be very sure what room Harry is in now, reunited with his wife.

Uncle Harry was one of the best additions to our Scandinavian based family. Aunt Grace sure knew what she wanted despite objections from both sides. She chose one of the highest quality guys ever. Memories from childhood spending time with Ann, Peggy, and Pam are sweet. Our families literally filled up the small apartments and houses of our parents with fun. Yelva, our mom, and Aunt Grace were favorite first cousins and our dads, Eric and Harry, became great friends. These two couples truly taught us kids what love and devotion meant. During the last six years, we only had Uncle Harry, but his positive attitude and great stories kept us laughing and learning. He was a treasure and an inspiration and we will miss him greatly.

So sorry for your loss. He was the sweetest man on earth, never a bad word about anybody. The last couple of times I talked to him he had me laughing with his stories. He remembered everything. He wii be missed. I always loved this picture, look at that little sailor. They are all together again.

Ann and Jack, I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. I admired your parents for many years. Clearly they loved and respected each other dearly. They were a fine example of "walking in faith". Anyone who had the benefit of being in their presence saw immediately their very special bond. They are together again, resting in the peace of God's heavenly home he prepared for them. I know you have fond memories that will continue to bring you comfort. Blessings to you all.
