Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Faye Gilberti Kish age, 83 beloved wife of 52 years to the late Alexander J. Kish, resident of Bridgeport died peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2011 at St. Vincent Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Bocchiro Gilberti and was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. Faye loved theatre, movies, reading (especially biographies of her favorite actors) whom most she knew by name. She was a wonderful cook and there was a specialty dish for everyone. Her homemade meals will be missed and her lasagna was the best. She was an avid Yankee fan. Faye spent her early mornings praying for family, friends and everyone on earth. What a special gift of giving she had. Fayes love was unconditional raising her children and she was always there for her grandchildren whom she was so devoted to and very proud of. She was a special caregiver and friend to all. After raising her family Faye worked for many years at Bradlees, Kmart and Hallmark stores where she enjoyed working with people. Survivors include her four loving children, Carl Kish and his wife Carol of Black Rock, Lewis Kish and his wife Marilynn of Fairfield, Julia Curcio and her husband Gus of Stratford, Janet Kish of Florida and the Rev. Richard Deshaies whom she considered a son, three grandchildren, Lisa Kish, Edward Kish and Frances Curcio, her great granddaughter Haila Allen, her sister-in-law, Joann Gilberti and several nieces and nephews.
