Obituary of Susan Kelly Kimball

Susan Kelly Kimball, age 8, beloved daughter of John Marquis and Jill Kelly Kimball, of Monroe, died on August 11, 2009. Born in Bridgeport on September 6, 2000, Susan was a much loved student at Fawn Hollow Elementary School who completed the third grade last June. She will be remembered for the way she loved, the spirit and energy she brought to life and for all the beautiful and innumerable characteristics that those who loved her will never forget, all of which make this loss so hard to understand.

In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her brother Jack Kimball, her maternal grandparents, Jean and Jim Kelly of Huntington, her aunts and uncles, Jane Kimball Warren and Steve Warren of West Hartford, Jeffrey S. Kimball and Patty Lewis of Fairfield, Susan G. Kimball and James Boutin of Yarmoth, ME, Bruce and Terry Kimball of Greenwich, Nancy Kimball of Englewood, FL and Kim and Don King of Hopkinton, MA, her cousins, Donald P. King, Kayla E. King, Kathryn D. Warren, Christopher K. Warren, Alexandra S. Kimball, Elysabeth M. Kimball, Stephanie N. Staidle, James B. Kimball Jr., Christopher S. Kimball, Nathan T. Kimball, and Aaron B. Lattin. She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandparents, James G. Kimball and June Marquis Kimball and by her aunt, Amy S. Kimball.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 12 noon for a Mass of Christian Burial. Private Family Interment will follow. Family and friends may call on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and neighbors to plant a tree in Susans memory on her birthday, September 6.
