I have such fond memories of my childhood filled with ''Annie Ev''...teasing and tickling her and being a nudge, her introducing me to tuna on toast-the only way I enjoy it still, Laurie and I would get excited when mom and dad would tell us we were stopping over A Ev and U Ray's ''for a cuppa coffee'', her singing bushel and a peck and whenever I hear Mele Kalikimaka I think of her, holidays filled with cousins and feasts, that basement crafting that took on a life of it's own! When I was a teenager I would buy a stack of bridal magazines and mom, A Ev and I would flip through them--back to front--laughing until we cried at the gaudy overdecorated gowns and headpieces. She taught me how to 'Aunt', and I hope I filled my niece's childhood with the same loving memories. May the whole family find peace in their fond memories too. Sympathies to all...
