Dearest Ann and Family members,
My memories of Peter attending daily mass and his beautiful relationship with our Lord and Savior was an inspiration to me. With all of his many accomplishment, most of all is the legacy of his family that mourns his loss, I am struck with his humility and his Christion spirit that will serve him well as he is united with our Lord. I pray that the Lord will cloak you with His comfort.

Mr. Pete Izzo was my Electronics instructor and Department Head of Electronic Technology while I was a student at Platt Tech and for many years after that.
Mr. Izzo had a great influence on me (and hundreds of other Platt Tech Alumni). He taught much, much more than just Electronics, he taught life, and what it meant to be a meaningful member of society.
I truly believe the world is a better place because of Mr. Pete Izzo, may he rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to his family.

That is so sad to hear. Pete never had a bad word for anyone. My heartfelt sympathies to the Izzo family...he will be missed simply because without fuss or pretense, Pete made a difference in the lives of many kids. It's even more disheartening that we don't get a chance to say good-bye. But be assured his legacy will live on and Pete will be in my prayers. He was a great guy.

Andy and I would like to extend our condolences to Ann and the kids and grandkids and (great grand kids (!?!) It's crazy how much time has passed and how quickly life has gone by. This pandemic has created a situation where we can't even grieve properly. Just please know that we share in your sadness. Pete was truly a sterling individual who was also a spectacular role model for all of his younger cousins.
All my love

Dear Mrs. Izzo and family Pete was such a wonderful
Man and a great plumber. He bowled with my dad Vinny Russo and we his children inherited him from my dad. We saw Pete on a regular basis at the Russo house in Fairfield and then when we were on our own Pete came to our houses and fixed everything for us too. I have a daycare in my home and Pete had to redo everything to accommodate the states standards. He always did a fantastic job. I’ve missed him over the years after his retirement but he was such a pleasure to converse with. We shared many stories and could not believe how much we went through the same things. Our hearts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May Pete RIP

Jeff and I are heartbroken to learn of Pete's passing. We are holding you close in our hearts as we continue to pray for you during this painful and difficult time.
Pete lead such a wonderful, faithfilled life that graced him with many well-deserved blessings--a remarkable, devoted wife, as well as family and friends who loved and admired him. He was kind-hearted, patient, an excellent listener and problemsolver, and he never allowed his optimism to wane. We know Pete's notable character traits will continue to be emulated by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as a tribute to this exceptional man. May he rest in the eternal peace of God's love.
Our deepest sympathy and love,
Dee and Jeff
