Dear Bill, Jessica, Kathryn, and Laura,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Roberta's passing in the Yellow Springs News this week. When I came to Yellow Springs High School as a teacher 27 years ago, she was one of the most supportive people for me and she truly helped me get established here. She was such a thoughtful, intelligent, and caring person to everyone she met (and it rubbed off on her three amazing daughters, as well). I have great memories of her at school, School Forest events, and around town. I am sure this loss has left a great hole in your lives, but I know you can feel comforted that the gifts she gave you for so many years have prepared you to be strong in the face of challenges and live life to the fullest.
