To Carol and the entire Schmidt/Conte family...please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. You will all be in my prayers. I have very found memories of "little" Bobby dating back to the "old days" when the neighborhood kids would hang out and play ball at St. Margaret's Shrine. Bobby was a good kid...honest and funny! Taken much too soon. RIP.

Schmidto or just plain Bob. That's what I knew him as. A lifelong and dear friend, easy going, always polite. One of the many that shaped my life on the street where we all lived. Great memories. He will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends. May your memories of him bring you comfort in this difficult time.

Thanks Andre. I love that both you and Jon called him Schmidto. Very endearing. ❤️ We were all pretty fortunate to have had each other and the childhood that we did. Thanks to all of our friends on Suburban Ave for being a part of some special memories. It’s comforting especially now.

It was so good to hear from you, Maryann. Thank you for the sweet message. We are/were so fortunate to have you and your extended family as our next door neighbors. And I just had the nicest talk with your dad the other day over the backyard fence. Very fond memories indeed. Love to all.
