Obituary of Maria Carla Lungariello

Maria Carla Valvona Lungariello, age 64, of Monroe, beloved wife of Pasquale Lungariello, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Born on May 29, 1955 in Picinisco, Frosinone, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Raffaele and Addolorata Lanni Valvona. A graduate of Port Chester High School, Maria Carla was a retired claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance Co. and was also long-time hair dresser who co-owned Lisa & Marie's Hair Salon. She enjoyed baking cookies and decorating extravagant cakes for her friends and family.

She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who always put the needs of her family first. The unconditional love she gave and the memories the family created will always live in their hearts. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband of 42 years, Pasquale, survivors include two loving children, Sandra Lungariello Bobbins and her husband Kevin of Seymour and Amy Lungariello of Monroe, a cherished and adored grandson, Logan Bobbins, her father and mother-in-law, Santo and Maria Lungariello, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends can greet the family on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A prayer service will take place on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
