Obituary of Frances N. Kania

Resident of Shelton Frances N. Jusko Kania, age 99, of Shelton, became an angel in heaven on Thursday, January 26, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late John Kania. Born in Wakefield, MA on February 25, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Amelia Jusko. She had been employed as an operator for the New York Telephone Company for many years before her retirement. Frances was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family above all else. She will be fondly remembered as Toots to those close to her. Having learned to drive at the age of 61, she thoroughly enjoyed bowling, shuffle board and bingo. Survivors include a daughter, Leona Ann (Lee) Korzun and her husband Frederick of Huntington and a granddaughter, Nicole Korzun of Milford. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Jusko, sisters, Leona Jusko and Helen Biniewicz and a nephew, Sonny Biniewicz. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
