Obituary of Agustin Medina Osorio

Agustin Medina Osorio, age 86, beloved husband of Antonia Reyes of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico on August 21, 1933, he was a son of the late Candido Medina and Juana Orsorio and was a longtime resident of Texas before moving to Bridgeport. Before his retirement he worked as a security guard at channel 2 (Telemundo) in Puerto Rico. Agustin loved all animals and was an avid NY Yankees fan and enjoyed watching boxing. He had a deep faith and lived his life as a devout Christian. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his loving wife Antonia of 64 years, survivors include five children, Margie Medina-Giordano and her husband Peter of Bridgeport, Madeline Medina of Puerto Rico, Agustin Medina Jr., and his wife Olga Algarin of Puerto Rico, Candido Medina and his wife Perla Gonzalez and Eric Medina and his wife Frances Medina all of Arlington, TX, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The interment will be private.
