I always tell people I hate anyone funnier than me.lol But I'm swallowing my pride and saying Rocky had me beat. For 46 yrs no one but no one could make me laugh as hard as Rocky..His mannerisms cracked me up and when he got on a roll, I literally lost my breath laughing..what a gift..It's been 3 weeks and this is still hard for me..I smile tho because I know the Angels are rolling on the floor laughing.

As a former student, I feel blessed to have had him as a teacher. He inspired a true love of music that remains to this day. I can still remember the song he’d sing and play at the start of each class. Over the years, I have repeated that same song to my own 2 children to get them ready for their own musical experiences. My heart goes out to the family and friends that knew him best and loved him most. What a gift to have had him in our lives!!

Dear Maureen,Diana, Jonathan, Lauren, Max and Grant,
Words can’t begin to express the sorrow we felt in hearing of Bob’s illness and passing. Bob’s legacy of laughter , kindness, love for his family, passion for fishing and tennis will be remembered along with his friendly nature. Bob was my first tennis partner over 30 years ago when we first joined Black Rock. He always made me feel comfortable and work hard even though everyone we would win no matter what I did. We enjoyed many events and nights hanging out at the bar. We especially enjoyed many a Sunday night sitting on the deck having dinner with Bob and Maureen enjoying sunsets and life in general. You will be terribly missed Bob but let the wonderful memories of who you were, positive and full of laughter be an inspiration to us all
Rest In Peace
Charlie and Chris

The picture of Bob brings a smile to my face just as he did every time we saw one another. I will miss his storytelling....it would start in the living room and move to the front door and then out on the driveway and before you knew it an hour and a half had gone by. And after he left my face would hurt from laughing so hard. That's what I will miss. I feel blessed to have known him. Love you Bob. My prayers are with Maureen, Diana, Jonathan and Lauren.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Bob. He was a wonderful man and teacher, always a smile and a great sense of humor, I recall the many years we taught in Trumbull - he and I in music and art. He always seemed to enjoy his work! His pumpkins at Middlebrook School will long be remembered by staff and students. I know he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Sincere and heartfelt condolences from the Watson family. So sad to hear of Bobby's passing. He was such dear, joyful, funny, loving man. Lover of music which he imparted to his students. Great teacher & Great tennis players. Fantastic fisherman. Oh we'll never forget Bobby catching the yummiest stripped bass, escaped eels in car, cleaning & eating and laughter, giggles all around. Bobby will be so missed and we wish him peace and Memory Eternal.

Maureen, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Over 50 years, Bob has been my best friend since we met at Notre Dame HS. A true friend with his support and encouragement. He introduced me to my passion and career: tennis. We started the first ND tennis team. His infectious smile and laugh uplifted me and all who knew and loved him. Always, I felt part of his family.

Mr. Perachio was my music teacher when I came to Middlebrook for 4th and 5th grade in the late 80s. He was inspiring, enthusiastic, and to this day one of my favorite teachers. Mr. Perachio exposed us to great music (Billy Joel!) He believed in me, encouraged me and I went on the become an elementary music teacher myself. He and his family are in my prayers and heaven’s band is definitely rocking a little more now!
