Obituary of Arthur G. Kaelin

Arthur G. Kaelin, age 78, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Elise Unbekant Kaelin, died at his home on Sunday, September 12, 2010 with his family by his side. Born in Oceanside, Long Island, he had been a Trumbull resident for 32 years. He was the son of the late William C. and Kathryn Graf Kaelin. Mr. Kaelin was a graduate of East Rockaway High School and the New York College of Applied Arts and Sciences. He worked for many years in the New York advertising industry before starting his own printing business, Best Impressions in Norwalk, CT. Arthur was a devoted husband and father and very proud of all his grandchildren. He was a passionate Mets, Giants and UCONN fan who also enjoyed traveling, bird watching and stamp collecting. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two loving sons, William A. Kaelin and his wife Laura of Naugatuck and Richard A. Kaelin and his wife Alisa of Shelton, six cherished grandchildren, Greg, Dana, Rebecca, Tiffany, Ricky and Glen Kaelin, his brother William G. Kaelin Sr. of Quechee, VT and sister Ann Moran of Sound Beach, NY, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Art was also pre-deceased by his son, John A. Kaelin and his brother Robert J. Kaelin of Swiftwater, PA. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information
