Obituary of Mary A. Johnson

Resident of Trumbull Mary Rose Acquino Johnson, age 82, of Trumbull, died on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Everett August Johnson as well as two brothers, Franklin and Luke Acquino and a sister, Ruth Acquino Smith. Mary was born on August 1, 1926, in Norwalk, CT to the late Helen Duffy Acquino and Frederick Acquino. She was a long time resident of Westport as well as of Norwalk, Naugatuck and Trumbull. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt as well as a devoted wife to her husband Everett. She will be fondly remembered and terribly missed by all of those friends and relatives who had the pleasure of knowing her and of being blessed by her warmth and loving smile. Mary is survived by her two beloved children, Janice Leas and her husband Bill of Trumbull and Everett Johnson and his wife Linda of Naugatuck. She is also survived by her loving sisters and brothers, Mildred Wakeman of Newtown, Helen Tullo of East Haven, Eva Richman and her husband Douglas of La Jolla, CA, Frederick Acquino and his wife Connie of Merrimack, NH, Thomas Acquino and his wife Ginny of Spring Hill, FL and John Acquino and his wife Marilyn of South Hampton, NY. In addition, Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Leas, Victoria Prickett and her husband Roger, Cheryl Waters and her husband Richard, and Everett Jr. and his wife Mickie; also by great grandchildren Nicholas Healy, Jesse Prickett, Shawn Prickett, Ricky Waters, Joseph Waters, Britney Johnson and Kyle Johnson; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
