Obituary of Harold Jensen

Trumbull Resident Harold A. (Whitey) Jensen, Sr. of Trumbull, age 83, beloved husband of the late Corinne Soldi Jensen, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2012. Born in Bridgeport on November 13, 1928, he was a U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Jensen worked as a self-employed carpenter for many years and retired from the Microphase Corporation where he was the facility manager. Mr. Jensen played semi-pro football for the Stratford Rockets and was a member of the Stratford and Bridgeport Old Timers Associations. Survivors include two sons, James Bagon of Stratford and Harold A. Jensen, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Wayne, PA, four grandchildren, Harold and Hannah Jensen, Jonathan and Matthew Bagon, a sister, Grace Puglisi and her husband Harry of Stratford, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Colleen Soldi of Milford and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Lief and a son Paul Bagon Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
