Obituary of Corinne B. Jensen

Trumbull Resident Corinne Soldi Jensen, age 77, of Trumbull, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 3, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucretia Money Soldi. Mrs. Jensen was a retired bookkeeper for Sacred Heart University, Hillendale Country Club, the Trumbull Times, Laidlaw Bus Co., and was a dedicated member of the Greenfield Hill AARP. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, family and friends, trips to the casino, bowling, cooking shows and bus trips. She was pre-deceased by her first husband James Bagon, a son Paul Bagon, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Peter Gonda, and her sister-in-law Pauline Soldi. Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Harold (Whitey) Jensen, two sons, James Bagon of Stratford, Harold A. Jensen, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Wayne, PA, daughter-in-law Darleen Bagon of Trumbull, grandchildren, Harold and Hannah Jensen, and Matthew and Jonathan Bagon, brother John Soldi and his wife Colleen of Milford, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Grace Puglisi and her husband Harry of Stratford as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St. Bridgeport on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
