Obituary of Louise M. Rebecco

Louise Mandell Rebecco, age 87, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Rebecco Sr., passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019. Born in Bridgeport on March 16, 1931 she was a daughter of the late William and Louise Heissner Mandell. Louise was formerly employed by Dictaphone and Textron Lycoming. She enjoyed bowling with her late husband and loved her trips to the casino with her friends. She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by all who loved her. Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Rebecco of Bridgeport, two brothers, George Mandell and his wife Ann and Joseph Mandell and his wife Barbara, a goddaughter Gina Mignogna, as well as several nieces, nephews and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Rebecco Jr.; brothers, William Mandell Jr. and Lawrence Mandell; sisters, Jennie Bourdeau, Josephine Guliuzza and Marie DeProfio. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margaret's Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
