Obituary of Adeline Petroccio

Adeline Nucifora Petroccio, age 77, of Naples, Florida and formerly of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019 in Naples, Florida. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Angelo F. Petroccio, her husband of 54 years. Born in Bridgeport on March 29, 1941 she was a daughter of the late Marcellino and Anna Studioso Nucifora.

In 1995, along with her husband, they fulfilled their lifelong dream to live by the beach and moved to Naples, Florida. Adeline was a loving and caring person; she always gave of herself to help anyone and was truly dedicated to her family. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and took great pride when everyone was together. The memories they shared will always live on in their hearts. Adeline will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include three loving children, Marcellino Petroccio and his wife Julie of Ridgefield, William Petroccio and his wife Ann of Fairfield and Candis Butcaris and her husband Greg of Naples, FL, seven cherished grandchildren, Nicolina, Brian, Gregory, Kevin, Matthew, Gianna and Aleah, a sister, Noreen DeMatteo and her husband Anthony of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday Morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
