Dear, Marilyn, Liz and Mrs. Muldford, I am so sorry for the loss of Richard. My deepest condolences to you and your family. He was so sweet and kind to me, it was a pleasure for me to take care of him as my patient. I always enjoyed listening to his wonderful stories about GE, serving in the U.S Navy, his love for the Red Sox, and especially the love he had for his family. There are no words, first Mrs. Mulford you were a teacher in my school, and your Dad became my patient, then our worlds collided again with our father's. and our very strong loving mothers. I am glad your Dad is at peace, and he will be in the kingdom of Heaven watching over you all. That does not take away the pain of loss. We are so sorry for your loss. I have such wonderful memories of Dick from our years on Raven Road and will always remember his warm smile, big laugh and his passion for the Red Sox! He will always have a special place in my heart. I like to think that my Dad must be happy to have his old friend with him and they are probably having a “spirited conversation” about baseball over a cocktail on a beautiful beach. That makes me smile through the sadness.
