Born in New York, NY on June 29, 1941, he was a son of the late Stanley C. and Jean Kalita Kiman. Peter was employed at Bridgeport Brass for 25 years in Data Processing before he worked for 19 years at People’s Bank, where he became an Assistant Vice President of Data Processing. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed smoking his pipe while rooting for the New York Yankees, New York Giants, and the UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams. His greatest enjoyment was found in the time he spent with his nine grandchildren, whom he adored so much. His grandchildren lovingly called him, “Buddy.”
