Obituary of Allan T. Romanoff

Allan "Tikie" Romanoff, age 60, of Seymour passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 surrounded by his loving family & friends at Griffin Hospital, Derby. He was the beloved husband of Pamela Ahearn Romanoff. Born in New Haven on September 13, 1958 he was a son of the late Eli Romanoff and Jaqueline Fitelson Romanoff of Bridgeport. Tikie was employed by American Heat Treating, where he worked as a shop manager and then salesman with 42 years of dedicated service. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and participated in numerous charity ride events. He was also a longtime member of the Central Subalpi Club of Ansonia. His greatest joy however was found in the time he spent with his family and friends. He loved to dance & always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother and beloved wife Pamela of nearly 10 years, other survivors include his children, Al Romanoff of Shelton and Heather Mastri of Monroe, his granddaughter, Dakota Libby, his two brothers, Richard "Noodles" Romanoff of Statesville, NC and Bruce Romanoff of Hamden, his sister, Sharon Romanoff and her husband Robert of Bridgeport. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Carmen Ahearn of Stratford, his sister-in-law, Kelly Scheurich and her husband Eric of Oxford as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, George Ahearn.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
