Obituary of Rose Gallo DiIulio

Rose Gallo DiIulio, age 98, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Vincent A. DiIulio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. Born in Bridgeport on November 6, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Tommasino and Concetta Misionile Gallo. Mrs. DiIulio was a retired employee of the Stratford Public School System with over 20 years of dedicated service. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include two loving sons, Pasquale DiIulio and his wife Deborah of Maryland and Dennis DiIulio of Stratford, a sister, Mary Aquilino of Stratford, six cherished grandchildren, Amber, Kerry, Jamie, Katie, Colleen and Nicolas, two adored great grandchildren, Jackson and Michael Vincent, her sister-in-law, Ann Gallo of Shelton, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
