I live a block away from Raymond and Jill's house in Bridgeport, and I met Raymond when we were both out walking our dogs. We would usually stop for a chat. I was always impressed with how free from bitterness he was at being struck by so many serious conditions as a result of breathing in the toxic air at Ground Zero on Sept. 11 and in the weeks following the attacks. I was interested to hear about his work both at the World Trade Center and later at Sikorsky. He was a very decent, courageous guy...
My very belated condolences to Jill.

I’m sorry to hear of Ray. I met him briefly last year at Tony Robbins that his cousin Mike Mike invites. He was delightful and wonderful along with his daughter. He shared his story because I too worked downtown when 9/11 happen. My God comfort the family at this time of sympathy.

My family and I had the opportunity to meet Ray when we first moved into our home. He was the only neighbor who came by to welcome us in the neighborhood. He's the best neighbor anyone can ask for. Ray always had a smile on his face and always had some jokes or stories to tell. We will always keep you in our hearts, Ray. Our condolences and prayers to the Rosa family.
Love,
Eznat family

I have known Ray for many years as an employee of Sikorsky Aircraft. Ray was my supervisor for awhile. I wish it could have been until I retired. But I was not that lucky. The first time that I met Ray and shook his hand I new that I never wanted to get on the wrong side of this man. I thought that I was shaking hands with a vice. Goodbye old friend. Rest in peace. You've earned it.

Though cousin Ray came from CT he loved NY as his cousins here loved him. He was a happy go lucky guy who always had a smile no matter what was happening to him.
He will be missed very much.
We send our deepest & heartfelt sympathies to all who knew & loved him.
Unfortunately his cousins Fran (86), her husband Tony (90) are unable to make the trip & myself Stella can't leave them alone.
So please know we love you & are with you in spirit.

I had the privilage to know Ray from Sikorsky. We shared tears about 911 and what a horrific day it was, being my stepsister had survived it as well. He was always smiling and brought great karma to work. I was saddened to hear of his illness, so not fair..
My condolences go out to all his family, as another bright star reaches heaven..until we meet again..

Ray was a real "ray" of positivity in this tumultuous world. I am so fortunate to know him--first as a fan, then a client and then, most importantly, as a friend. In that short time I was lucky to get a glimpse into his affect on people and can only imagine how his passing will effect so many. Thank you, Ray, for all the wonderful memories and the good you did.

When I first met Ray he had that great grin on his face as he shook my hand. I was wondering who this guy that looks like Eugene Levy was. That's when I found out that he was training to be my new supervisor. He loved any chance to learn about the build of the aircraft and was always standing behind his guys. After I moved to Florida I always tried to make it a point to see him. He had a way of putting a smile on your face no matter how he felt. There are not enough words to describe the man he was. Jill and Carli having met you two I know Ray will always be a big part of your strength.
I'll miss you Ray!
