Obituary of Antoinette A. Bellizzi

Antoinette A. Bellizzi, age 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Golden Hill Rehab Pavilion in Milford. She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Bellizzi, Sr. Born in New Haven on August 8, 1922 she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Angelina G. Giuseppe Esposito. During World War II, she had been employed by Chance Vought as a defense worker. She later was happy to take on the role of mother, grandmother and great grandmother, which became her primary focus. Mrs. Bellizzi was a very talented and gifted vocalist having attended the CT Institute of Music and the Crown Institute of Music. She was a protégé of the Rudy Valley Stage and Screen and also performed at Woolsey Hall and the Shubert Theater. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving children, John Bellizzi and Jason Bellizzi, both of Stratford and Janis Komoroski of Oxford, her cherished grandchildren, John Bellizzi, Jeanine Masik and her husband Matthew, Jennifer Waterman and her husband Michael, George Komoroski and his wife Alley, Andrew Komoroski and his wife Kristina, John Komoroski and Natalie Czaplinski and her husband Matthew, as well as 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband John, she was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Margaret Bellizzi and her son-in-law, George Komoroski. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
