I'll always remember Bob's easy smile and laugh. He was fun to hang out with. He was always a great husband and father with lots of love. He enjoyed many things but simple things really made him happy. A lot of times we laughed together hanging out on the back porch, grilling. Of course he had his amazing car that I got to drive around in with him and Liz. I think the biggest smiles came when he was introducing us to a little pizza place he new or a special hot dog stand - "the worlds greatest weenie" and we'd all laugh. Actually I think it was the place right there in Seymour that was his favorite. I'm sure he's up there somewhere starting a new project on a car or truck in a heavenly garage, and laughing.

We will remember Bob's laugh, his smile, and all of his interesting stories. Bob was a natural storyteller. He knew the history of the cities in Connecticut and the people who founded the industries in these cities. Bob appreciated your company and was a good listener. Liz was the light of Bob's life! He appreciated her care and being his advocate in rehab and the hospital. In September, we searched with Liz for an open ice cream shop late one Sunday afternoon. She found the best ice cream shop and Bob enjoyed every sip of the strawberry milk shake! Rest in peace, Bob. We know God is enjoying your tales and adventures! XO Marion & Jerry
