Obituary of Mary C. Keane

Mary C. Scappatura Keane, age 90, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Keane, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Jewish Senior Services with her loving family by her side. Born on December 2, 1927 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Delzio Scappatura. During her working years, Mary was employed by JC Penny, Walmart, Sikorsky Aircraft and Dictaphone. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and taking trips to the casino. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all.

Survivors include two loving daughters, Patricia Lombardi and her husband George of Trumbull, Kathleen Tatnall and her husband Michael of Stratford, four cherished grandchildren, Patrick and Jennifer Tatnall, Karen Lombardi and Sara Venugopal and her husband Dilip, two adored great grandchildren, Sahana and Ethan, four sisters, Catherine Castaldo and Joan Mas and her husband Jim all of Shelton, Yolanda Caramanica of Bridgeport and Mafalda Covino of Ansonia, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Scappatura and a sister, Josephine Bianchi.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m.
