Obituary of Margherita L. Hunt

Margherita L. Minotti Hunt, age 98, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Clarence Hunt, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at home with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on October 12, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Eleanor Cavaliere Minotti. During WWII she worked at Remington Arms making primers for 50 Caliber bullets. At her retirement she was a supervisor at Read's in the marking and receiving department. She enjoyed baking and cooking and loved to travel. She was an avid reader and was always up for the challenge of a 1000 pc puzzle. Above everything she cherished the time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include a loving daughter, Margherita Hibyan of Trumbull, a cousin, Helen Rodia and her husband Carl, a dear friend, Debbi Fiore, devoted caregiver, Liz Kaufman and former son-in-law, Peter Hibyan,. She was predeceased by a cherished grandson, Jason P. Hibyan brother, Michael L. Minotti Sr. and Dominic Minotti, a sister, Evelyn Minotti and two stepsons, Kenneth and Howard Hunt.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
