Obituary of Richard Allen Forsberg

Richard Allen Forsberg, age 52, of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his home in Bridgeport. Born on April 18, 1966 in Somerville, MA, he was a son of the late William and Mary Alice Manning Forsberg.

Richard was a graduate of both Central High School and Bullard Havens Technical School furthering his education to become a certified government welder and worked with Milford Fabricating Co. for many years. Richard enjoyed heavy metal rock, with Metallica being his favorite band. He was a second degree brown belt in Taekwondo. Richard was a loving son, brother, and uncle who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his sisters, Linda Chiarenzelli and her husband Randy of Shelton, Karen Davidson of Westport and Sandra Young and her husband Jeffry of Shelton; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Kurt and Carl Forsberg.

Friends can greet the family members at a memorial gathering that will take place on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
