Obituary of Charlotte E. Vendetti

Charlotte E. Vendetti, age 82, lifelong resident of Bridgeport and the beloved wife of the late Sam Vendetti, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 with her family by her side. Born on July 8, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen Miller Reback. Charlotte was a homemaker who enjoyed nothing more than the spending time and taking care of her family.  She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Reback Padulo. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Charlotte is survived by her three loving children, Mark Vendetti and his wife Myrna of Stratford, June Vendetti of Bridgeport, and Sandy Goncalves and her husband John of Monroe; two cherished grandchildren, Sam Vendetti and Nicholas Goncalves; brother-in-law Frank Padulo and sister-in-law Ann Trovarelli and her husband Joseph of Bridgeport; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Patrick Church, 851 North Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. The arrangements have been entrusted to The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
