Obituary of Albert L. DePeano

Albert DePeano, age 88, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Lucille Marinaccio DePeano, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on June 17, 1929, he was a son of the late John and Lucy Iannarone DePeano and was a longtime resident of Trumbull. Before his retirement he was a chemist with R.T. Vanderbuilt with over 34 years of dedicated service. Albert had a love of sports and was a member of Tashua Knolls Golf Course. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to all of Albert's nieces and nephews for their continued love and support throughout the years.

In addition to his beloved wife Lucille of 51 years, survivors include two loving children, a son, Thomas A. DePeano and Donna Meadows of Trumbull and a daughter, Melissa M. McArdle and her husband John of South Glastonbury, three cherished grandchildren, Stefanie, Allison and John Albert, a dedicated brother, Angelo Charles DePiano of Trumbull, sister-in-law, Eleanor DePeano of Milford, brother-in-law, Leonard Marinaccio and his wife Loretta of West Haven, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John DePeano, a sister, Leonarda Litzie and her husband John, sisters and brothers-in-law, Antoinette Capalbo and her husband Joseph, Frank Marinaccio and his wife Rose and Mary Jane Walker and her husband Mickey.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
