Obituary of Frank J. Intelisano

Frank John Intelisano, age 80, of Aloha, OR and formerly of Bridgeport died on Saturday, June 30, 2007 in St. Vincents Providence Hospital, Portland, Oregon. Born in Westfield, NJ on, March 3, 1927, he was a son of the late Frank and Josephine DeAngelis Intelisano. A U.S. Navy veteran Frank served in WWII and the Korean War. He was a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was also a member of the American Legion in Oregon. Frank was retired employee of City of Bridgeport Fire Department with 32 years of service; he retired as the Assistant Fire Chief. He was a proud member of the Bridgeport Area Retired Firefighters, enjoyed fishing and could always tell a good story.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by, a sister, Mary Bertone, a brother, Thomas Intelisano and his step father Salvatore Mercurio.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Evelyn Rader Intelisano, a son, Thomas Intelisano and his wife, Angela of Milford, daughters, Valerie Intelisano of Milford, Carrie Jo DeVietro and her husband Fred of Beaverton OR, Gina Gouveia and her husband Manuel of Monroe, seven grandchildren, Jenna Intelisano, Billy DAvignon, Jessica Intelisano, Michael and Matthew DeVietro and Dale and Amelia Gouveia, a brother Sebastian Intelisano of Italy and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations Information
