Obituary of Mary Jane Sheridan

Mary Jane Sheridan, age 90, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on December 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cora Martin Sheridan.  Mary had worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where she had dedicated many years of service before her retirement. Upon her retirement, she then devoted her time to her brother and helping him in various capacities at the rectory in Naugatuck where he was stationed.  A selfless and caring sister and friend to all, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brother, Reverend Philip Sheridan, as well as several cousins and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church, Trumbull.
