Obituary of Emily F. Densky

Emily Gabriel Densky, age 95, of Monroe and formerly of Stamford, beloved wife of the late William Densky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bath, PA on May 22, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Oswald) Gabriel.

Emily was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great pride and joy in her family; she loved to attend as many of her grandchildren's sporting events, concerts, plays, and school functions as possible. She even took her first trip on a plane, at 89 years of age, to attend her grandson's wedding. The unconditional love she gave, and the memories created will always live on the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be truly missed.

Survivors include her three loving children, Pamela Setaro and her husband Charles of Canton, GA, Karen Dulac and her husband Edward Jr., of Nazareth, PA and Timothy Densky and his wife Janet of Monroe, six cherished grandchildren, Cynthia Neyer and her husband David, Lorraine Lowendick and her husband Justin, Edward Dulac III and his wife Hope, Kelly Dulac, Christopher Densky and his wife Sara Dugas, and Matthew Densky, five adored great grandchildren, Devin, Colin, Elise, Riley and Jackson, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph, Stephen, Mary, Rose and Elizabeth. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Jewish Senior Services for the professional care and compassion shown to Emily.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Donations, in Emily's memory, may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
