Dear girls and family, I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. We have not been in touch since my 80th birthday party, almost 9 years ago. I was curious as to her whereabouts, since I wanted to send a Christmas card. I checked online and saw her obituary. I have a sad heart. We had so many good times together over the years. Our parties together, good times in Saratoga, and watching you girls grow up. I’m sure she and your dad are with Bob in heaven. Again, my deepest condolences, and my love to all of you.

The laugh. That is one of the hundred things I will miss about you Phyllis. Always having 9 brothers and sisters together on a trip, stag game, Cape Cod and the famous trailer that only the "Copertino's" got to use. Do you think I am still bitter?!? I could go on forever, I guess the bottom line is, there are enough memories to keep me smiling through this hard time. It makes me happy to know that you are with Tony. RIP Phil, I will miss you so. To Monica, Licia and the entire Copertino family: Our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. I believe I knew her well enough to know that she was a wonderful person, wife, mother, "nonna", and "bisnonna".She and Tony raised a beautiful family and inculcated the importance of "famiglia" in all of you and anybody that was fortunate to come into contact with them. I am so sorry I lost my swim buddy Phyllis. She would call up to me when I was on the deck as the tide was coming in “Is it swimtime yet?” “Give me 5 minutes to get my suit on Phyllis. I will be right down.” We would go out and exercise in the water and chat away. I found someone who loved the water more than me! Your Mom adored all of you! Nothing made her happier than talking about you and the grandkids. She was the quintessential family woman who lived and breathed what she thought was best for her family. Cindy and I hope that your wonderful memories of your loving, amazing Mom help to console you in this difficult time. Our prayers are with you. Sending hugs to all of you, Beth and Cindy
