Obituary of Marion Pietrantonio

Marion Monaco Pietrantonio, age 96 of Trumbull, beloved wife of 58 years to the late Frank Pietrantonio, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 19, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born on March 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther LaChioma Monaco. Prior to retirement, Marion worked as a payroll clerk for Bridgeport Metal Goods. She enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time with her family at Lake Zoar. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. She took pride in her role as the family caretaker, caring for her parents, husband, daughters and grandkids. Marion was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Judith Marcel and her husband Michael of Shelton and Linda Pietrantonio of Trumbull, two beloved grandsons, Christopher and Jeffrey Marcel, both of Shelton, and a cherished great grandson, Chase Marcel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Monday, January 22 from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
