Obituary of Juan Gregory Ceballos

Juan Gregory Ceballos, age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Maria Tavarez Ceballos, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2017, at his home the way he wanted, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on March 12, 1935, he was a son of the late Jose Raymond Ceballos and Victoria Perez Ceballos. Juan was self-employed, working in the floor covering industry for 50 years before his retirement.

An extremely hard-working man, Juan worked tirelessly to ensure that his children were provided a good education and had the tools in life to succeed. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and was just happy knowing that his family was cared for. He treasured time spent with family, especially his grandchildren, and the unconditional love he provided will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his devoted wife of 55 years, Maria, survivors include four loving children, Gregory Ceballos of Orange, Frank Ceballos and his wife Laura of Bridgeport, Robert Ceballos of Milford and Emily Ceballos of Bridgeport, and four cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Robert, Taylor and Olivia. He also leaves to cherish his memory several brothers and sisters, many brothers and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating Juan's life on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
