Obituary of Anthony Costanzo

Anthony "Tony" Costanzo, Sr. age 78, beloved husband of Maryann Costanzo of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on February 26, 1939, he was a son of the late Ralph and Anne Sisbarro Costanzo and was a longtime resident of Stratford. Before his retirement, Tony was the owner and operator of Ray's Grill of Stratford for over 52 years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with family. In addition to his wife Maryann of 60 years, survivors include two loving children, Darleen Bedard and her husband Ross of Trumbull and Anthony Costanzo, Jr. and Maria Garby of Stratford, two brothers, Raymond Costanzo and his wife Carole of Trumbull and John Costanzo of FL, five grandchildren, Matthew Bagon and Jozie, Jonathan Bagon and his wife Jenine, Giavanna Costanzo, Ashley Mulherin and her husband Dylan and Amber Bedard, twin great grandsons, Adam and Paul and goddaughter, Reina Costanzo as well as many nieces and nephews. All funeral services were held in private at the convenience of the family.
