Obituary of Nancy Adriani

Nancy Adriani, 100, a beloved Aunt to many generations, and a resident of Spring Meadows, Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 with her family by her side. Born on March 25, 1917 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Nicola and Maria Caseria Adriani, and was a city resident for 90 years.  Nancy was an office manager for The Silliman Co. for many years. In addition to adoring her family, Nancy enjoyed traveling, bowling, caring for pets and socializing with her many friends.  She was a wonderful cook and made the best jams, jellies and pies from her own garden.  Her sweet personality will be remembered by all who knew her.

Survivors include her nephews, John, Philip, Lawrence, and Robert Adriani, nieces Mary Broderick, Ellen Adriani, Bonnie Hartman, Nicky Reetz and Lucille Unger, 2 sisters-in-law, Virginia and Veronica Adriani as well as several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Dr. John, Philip, Frank, Jim, Joseph Adriani, Florence Maier, Helen Adriani, and Mary Czufin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11 AM directly in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.   Friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-8 PM in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
