Obituary of Thomas J. Crenwick

Thomas J. Crenwick, age 72, of Shelton, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on July 19, 1945, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anne Wood Crenwick. Before his retirement he was a sales engineer for many years.

Anyone who knew Tom, understood his love for the game of golf. You could often find him practicing his game or sharing his golf knowledge through a lesson. Tom also loved music, so much so, that those dearest to his heart, would often have to endure hearing their name in song accompanied by his acoustic guitar. Tom had an infectious sense of humor that touched many hearts. He will be missed dearly.

Survivors include his two loving children, Laura Turiano and Thomas "T.J." Crenwick, II and his wife Jaime, all of Shelton, a sister, Margaret Mastriano and her husband Philip of FL and five grandchildren, Richard, Elaine and Jacqueline Turiano, Thomas J. Crenwick, III and John Crenwick as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Crenwick.

A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
