Obituary of Regina A. Capriotti

Regina A. Wysocki Capriotti, age 91, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo T. Capriotti. Born in Fairfield, on September 7, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Boleslaw and Antonia Ososki Wysocki. Regina had found great enjoyment traveling the world with her late husband and also loved to knit and crochet. An extremely independent woman, she loved to visit with friends, go shopping with her sister and sisters-in-law and enjoyed spending time at her sister's vacation home in Old Saybrook. A devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, Gloria Marder and her husband Peter Hoebeke of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Alan Capriotti of Trumbull, her brother, Louis Wysocki and his wife Pat and her sister-in-law, Ann Wysocki, all of Fairfield and her brother-in-law, John Capriotti of Beacon Falls. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and grand grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Angelo, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Francis, Adolph and Chester Wysocki, and a sister, Pauline Lasky.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, 481 Brewster St., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
