Obituary of Ralph Iannarone

U. S. Army Veteran Ralph Iannarone, age 90, of Hamden and formerly of Trumbull, died peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on May 30, 1917, he was a son of the late Anthony and Rose Palazzo Iannarone. A U.S. Army veteran he was a retired steam fitter for the General Electric Co. with 44 years of service. Mr. Iannarone was a Trumbull resident for 54 years before moving to Hamden and also was an avid golfer at the Tashua Knolls course in Trumbull. He was a loving husband and was devoted to his family. Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Pauline Colucci Iannarone, a son, John Iannarone and his wife Annette of North Andover, MA, a daughter, Joan Valenti and her husband Brian of Cheshire, a sister, Lucy Bonazzo of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, John, Timothy, Katie and Meghan Iannarone and Alison Valenti as well as nieces and nephew, Lois Gentile, Grace Theobald and Vincent Bonazzo. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Ground, Trumbull.
