Obituary of Theresa C. DiGennaro

Theresa C. Colucci DiGennaro, age 79, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Donald DiGennaro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on September 10, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Anna Benedetto Colucci. Donald and Theresa were married for 58 years and they had three children, Philip, Leonard and Donna. Theresa's pride and joy was her family, especially spending time with her five grandchildren, Philip, Michael, James, Joseph and Emly. Theresa also loved her daughter-in-law, Maureen and Donna's husband David Pavitt. Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave, Trumbull on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Center, Office of Development, Yale New Haven Hospital, PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508-9979 or to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
