Obituary of Gilda S. Bray

Gilda (Jill) Sorge Bray, age 89, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 5, 2017. Jill was a professional secretary starting her career at the Singer Company. She spent over 20 years working at the University of Bridgeport where she earned her Associates Degree. She enjoyed playing cards for over 40 years and playing golf, but most of her enjoyment could be found in the time spent with her grandchildren. Jill is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clifford C. Bray Sr., her daughter, Lauren Bray Cenatiempo and her husband Al of Norwalk, sons, Clifford (Buddy) Bray Jr. and his wife Francesca of Trumbull and James Bray and his wife Gina of Florida, five grandchildren, Nicholas, Jimmy, Bianca, Jenna and Clifford Bray III, a great grandson, Cameron James Bray, her godchildren, Angela Sorge McColgan and Annmarie Sorge Constantine and several nieces and nephews. All funeral services will be private. The family would like to thank Yale New Haven Hospital and Hospice for the care they gave us. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
