Obituary of Regina A. Gellatly
Regina Mascia Gellatly, age 83, of Westbrook and formerly of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Charles L. "Bub" Gellatly. Born in Bridgeport on June 10, 1933 she was a daughter of the late Michael and Assunta Civarra Mascia and was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport before moving to Westbrook in 1995. Regina graduated from Warren Harding High School. Before her retirement she worked at Mohawk Curtains, Grants Department Store and Wright Investors.
Survivors include her two loving children, Raymond Gellatly and his wife Irma of CA and Daniel Gellatly and his wife Debbie of Branford and five cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Rebecca, Amanda, Jovan and Alexander Gellatly as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Gellatly-Roy, a brother, Nicholas Mascia and a sister, Mary Mascia.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
