Obituary of Paul M. Grillo

Paul M. Grillo, age 22, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 10, 1995, he was the son of John Michael and Lynne Cioppa Grillo. Paul loved music, movies and playing with his toys, creating his own wonderland playscapes of his imagination to express himself. He loved riding with his daddy on the tractor, he loved swimming in "Baby Pats Pool" and going out on our boat. Paul's beautiful smiles and laughter would light up and touch the very souls of everyone around him. He will always be the love, joy and lights of our lives. Our special loving Son, grandson, nephew and cousin. We will always keep in our hearts the lessons Paul has taught us. He was always seen with a smile on his face. He loved to laugh and had the ability to put a smile on everyone's face around him. Live, Love, Laugh, Forever. In addition to his loving parents, Michael and Lynne, other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Ronald J. and Roberta L. Cioppa of Trumbull, his uncles, Ron M. Cioppa, who is also Paul's godfather, Robert J. Cioppa, Lawrence J. Grillo and his wife Janet, all of Trumbull, Christopher Grillo and his wife Kristine of Miami Beach, FL, his aunts, Katie Cioppa, who is also Paul's godmother, Lauren Grillo and her husband David Mills of Shelton, Susan Grillo of Bridgeport,. He is also survived by his great aunt and uncle, Patricia and Carmen Massimino of Easton, as well as his closest cousins Emily Cioppa, Niki Marie Cioppa and Ruby Cioppa and many other cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Maryann Grillo and an aunt, Terese Grillo. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
